About Silver Fit Plus

Silver Fit Plus was created for adults who want to stay active, healthy, and independent as they age.

If you’re dealing with joint pain, stiffness, low energy, weight gain, declining strength, or simply feeling older than you should, you’re not alone. The reality is that after 50, our bodies change. Recovery takes longer, muscle is lost more easily, mobility declines, and many of the fitness programs designed for younger people simply don’t work anymore.

Silver Fit Plus exists to provide practical, science-based solutions that help adults over 50 move better, feel stronger, and enjoy life more—without extreme workouts, complicated diets, or unrealistic expectations.

My Story

I’m Vincent Tyler, founder of Silver Fit Plus and a lifelong student of strength, mobility, and healthy aging.

With a Bachelor of Science in Biology, certifications through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), The Biomechanics Method for Corrective Exercise, and Functional Training, plus more than 40 years of real-world experience, I’ve dedicated my life to helping people move better, feel stronger, and stay independent as they age.

But my journey hasn’t been perfect.

Like many adults over 50, I’ve faced my own setbacks. Years of wear and tear left me with bilateral shoulder arthritis, torn rotator cuffs, chronic pain, and periods where I stopped training altogether. I experienced firsthand how aging can lead to stiffness, muscle loss, slower recovery, and frustration when your body no longer responds the way it once did.

Instead of giving up, I learned how to work around those limitations. By focusing on smart training, mobility, recovery, and consistency, I rebuilt my strength and fitness without relying on extreme workouts or chasing the body I had at 25.

For more than 25 years as a personal trainer, I’ve helped hundreds of adults over 50 do the same. My approach combines science-based fitness with practical strategies that fit real life and real bodies.

As the author of Thrive After 50, my mission is simple: help adults over 50 stay strong, move with confidence, and enjoy an active, independent life for years to come.
